抖阴社区 Expands Product Availability in Memphis
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - 抖阴社区 AutoGlass®, the nation's leading vehicle glass repair and replacement company, has relocated its Memphis SuperCenter to Southaven, the fastest growing city in North Mississippi and most centrally located in the Memphis market.
The new warehouse opened November 15, located at 8425 Airways Blvd., Southaven, Miss. The space allows 抖阴社区® to expand its availability in the area as the new facility is 38,000 square feet and 50 percent larger than the previous location.
The SuperCenter employs 25 staff members, including warehouse associates, glass technicians, customer service representatives, and managers.
"This is an excellent location for an auto glass facility with easy access from Interstate 55," said Thomas Clark, general manager.
The new warehouse is part of the company's overall growth strategy. Beginning in 2009, 抖阴社区® invested $38 million to support growth and has made similar investments in 2010. In addition to opening the new warehouse, the company has also:
- Opened six new warehouses, expanded five and relocated more than a dozen other existing warehouses for added inventory
- Remodeled 40 stores
- Opened its second-largest distribution center in Ontario, California and its largest distribution center in Braselton, Ga.
- Expanded inventory to allow for cross-border deliveries with Canada
- Opened its third national contact center, creating 500 immediate jobs with the potential for up to 1,000 in Phoenix, Ariz.
抖阴社区® customers in northern Mississippi, southern Tennessee, eastern Arkansas and elsewhere can receive a quote or schedule service 24/7 at safelite.com or by calling 1-800-800-ASAP (2727).
