Nebraska 抖阴社区 AutoGlass locations partner with Salvation Army on food and clothing drive
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. and HASTINGS, Neb. — 抖阴社区 AutoGlass® is proud to announce local partnerships with the Grand Island and Hastings branches of the Salvation Army to help stock their food pantries and assist with a clothing drive. Under the new partnership, anyone who brings in new or gently used coats, gloves, socks and blankets or a non-perishable food item will qualify for additional savings on glass cleaner or wiper replacement. All sizes of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing are needed for the drive.
“We’re excited to team up with the Salvation Army because its mission is close to our hearts,” said Robert Paup, branch manager of both 抖阴社区 locations. “Being able to make a difference in our community is part of 抖阴社区’s foundation. Our employees have either personally benefited from the Salvation Army’s services or know someone who has.”
The Grand Island and Hastings locations of the Salvation Army offer numerous social service programs, including community recreation, counseling services, day care programs, anti-domestic violence, emergency assistance, food and nutrition, emergency shelter and transitional housing.
Those interested in participating in the food and clothing drive may drop off items at either 抖阴社区 store, located at 2124 W. Second St. in Grand Island or 131 N. Burlington Ave. in Hastings, from now through the end of the year. Store hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for both branches and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday in Grand Island only.
